everything... The car is 20 years old, & after that much time, everything starts looking a little dull. And am I ever glad that I took the extra time to do that. I wanted to paint the door jambs, inside the trunk opening, inside the fuel door, the door hinges, etc. I wanted to paint the under & back side of every panel that you can see, like the hood, trunk, doors, & other panels. Plus, it's really hard to see minor imperfections when the panels are on the car. For instance, a little ding toward the bottom of the fender that you can't see on the car, you'll see plain as day when you're holding it in your hand, when you can move the fender from side to side. And when you go to the extra work to do that, there's no over spray on anything. Here's a couple pics of what you can't do unless you remove the panels, & paint them off of the car:
